Title: The Grassy Knoll Conspiracy

Kevin felt so strong on today's ride he decided to try and push over a tree.

At last, with two days to go, there are indications that Kevin is almost ready for the trip to France. We did the usual "reference" ride (Pescadero/Tunitas), this time on our Bike Fridays, just to make sure they were ready for the trip as well.

Kevin reaches "Grassy Knoll" that signifies the steeper part of Tunitas has come to an end

Nothing spectacular as we kept the pace intentionally low, but the good news is that the knee issue that has bothered him the last few weeks didn't show up at all until Tunitas, and pretty much went away on the upper (flatter) parts of the climb.

I did notice something a bit odd though (sometimes, when you ride slower than usual, you see and think about things that otherwise escape you). The "Grassy Knoll" where the steep part of Tunitas ends? It moves! Some days I find it 35 minutes into the ride; today it was 50. Very suspicious
