Title: A bit different ride today (with Becky, not Kevin)

Becky enjoying her mid-ride coffee

Kevin wasn't feeling great this morning, so Becky, very surprisingly, offered to stand in for him. Obviously it's not going to be a ride to the coast (yet) but she's been getting progressively stronger on her bike commutes to & from the shop, so why not?

Nothing huge, just a version of the loop, 22.5 miles, but still over 1200ft of climbing and at least twice as far as she's ridden in quite a while. She hung in there very, very well, much better than I expected, even on the long climb up Sand Hill.

Surprisingly few others out on the road today, most of them likely scared off by the threatening clouds which really never let loose more than a few drops here & there. All in all a very nice ride!
